Washington, D.C. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Kamala Harris raise a Ukrainian flag signed by members of the country’s military. President Volodymyr Zelensky gave them the flag while addressing a joint meeting of Congress in which he outlined Ukraine’s need for continued military aid on December 21. The event marked his first foreign trip since Russia’s February invasion.
