Rising Tide

Ironbridge, U.K. Houses in a large village in central England are surrounded by floodwaters from the burst banks of the nearby River Severn on February 22 following several days of heavy rain from three major storm systems: Dudley, Eunice and Franklin. Around 60 homes and businesses had to be evacuated. According to the Environment Agency, the “unprecedented” weather “led to river levels coming close to beating historic highs.”
