Deniliquin, Australia—Whip-cracking revelers attend the Deni Ute Muster, a raunchy celebration of, yes, a car: Down Under’s sacred utility vehicle, the Ute. On September 29, nearly 20,000 people attended the weekend bash, featuring performances by country stars like Carrie Underwood, bull-riding, mud-wrestling and, of course, copious amounts of beer. The festival was hatched 20 years ago to attract tourists to the region.
