Xbox Series X Restock Update for Target, Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, Best Buy and More

Xbox Series X restocks have been especially scarce lately and there is no reason to believe that this will be changing anytime soon. That being said, Thursdays are often the busiest days for console drops, so there is still a little hope for this week.

Below is the latest restock information for the Xbox Series X and Series S.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

Ever since it abandoned nationwide sales, Target has become one of the most difficult outlets to track for Xbox Series X drops.

Rather than synchronising restocks across all of its stores (like most other retail chains), Target is now allowing individual locations to manage their own schedules.

This makes it virtually impossible to predict when the console will next be available, without checking the inventory levels of every single store in the country.

Your only option is to monitor Target's website daily to see if the Xbox Series X is in stock anywhere nearby. We have found that it is best to do this first thing in the morning, so that you can get ahead of the crowds.

You should also use the ZIP-code field on the website to narrow down your search results, otherwise you may end up travelling a long way to collect your purchase.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

Depending on your location, you might be able to pick up an Xbox Series S from Best Buy, bundled with a three-month subscription to the Game Pass service.

The availability of this particular item is contingent upon your location, so it will display as "sold out" if you are not close enough.

Otherwise, pre-orders for the Halo Infinite edition Xbox Series X have still not been released at Best Buy. The product page reads as "coming soon" and is expected to go live any day now.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

While there is no official restock date for Walmart, the outlet does tend to release its console supplies on a fortnightly basis.

Specifically, their drops usually occur on Thursdays at 3 p.m. ET. Seeing as there was no restock last week, it is entirely possible that Walmart could be selling the Xbox Series X this afternoon (September 9).

Of course, that is not guaranteed, but we would still advise that you keep an eye on the website just in case.

Antonline Xbox Series X Restock

The Xbox Series X remains sold out at Antonline, but you do have a few options for getting the Series S model instead.

If you are willing to settle for this less-powerful hardware, then there are multiple bundles you can choose from here. Each of them is priced at $364.99 and comes packaged with a wireless headset and a spare controller in one of three colors (those being Shock Blue, Pulse Red or Electric Yellow).

These Xbox Series S bundles have been in stock for quite some time now and have yet to sell out.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

The Xbox Series S is also available from Amazon. It can be ordered in a bundle with two wireless controllers, a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass and a Kwalicable accessory pack for $599.

At the time of writing, there is no indication of when Amazon will next be restocking on the Xbox Series X.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

You can't get an Xbox Series X from the Microsoft Store at the time of writing, but there is another way of getting the console directly from the source.

If you already own an Xbox One (or an Xbox One X), then you can try registering for Microsoft's "console purchase" pilot scheme. This will give you the opportunity to place an order using your last-gen hardware.

Newsweek has provided a more in-depth explanation of how this works here.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

There are no Xbox Series X units featured in today's Newegg shuffle.

While it can't be procured through the daily lottery draw, you are able to find a few Xbox bundles elsewhere on the Newegg website. However, these are being traded by third-party scalpers and so will be listed for greatly inflated prices.

For example, you can currently find an Xbox Series X going for $904.95 at Newegg, which is nearly double the recommended manufacturer's price.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

As per our last update, there is no word on when GameStop is likely to be selling the Xbox Series X again.

The merchant was taking pre-orders for the Halo Infinite edition of the console toward the end of August, but it has been a while since they last restocked on any standard units.

Sam's Club Xbox Series X Restock

Neither the Xbox Series X nor its less-powerful counterpart, the Xbox Series S, are available from Sam's Club at the time of writing. To be alerted if anything changes, follow dedicated console trackers like @XboxStockAlerts, @GYXdeals and @mattswider on Twitter.
