Woman Shows Her Love Language Is Food with Surprise KFC Feast

Physical touch, words of affirmation and quality time are all established love languages— but one woman is making the case for a new one.

In a video on TikTok, she showed her love through food by surprising her sleeping boyfriend with a large bag full of KFC chicken, prompting both praise and jealousy within the comments.

The clip, shared by Flo and her partner K on the account @fromhiseye, begins with footage of Flo standing in front of her Ring doorbell.

"I'm getting you a KFC and you have no idea," she whispers loudly, wearing her pajamas and robe.

After a brief cut, and a caption saying "10 hours later", Flo reappears in front of the doorbell, this time with the KFC bag.

"It might look like I've got too much, but I didn't know what you wanted, so I got one of everything," she says.

Comments rolled in praising Flo for her grand gesture, saying her partner should marry her and that she is a keeper.

"Marry her. Right now," wrote TikTok user @degrimmola wrote.

Her partner K's response, however, revealed one all-too-relatable caveat in the situation.

The couple had just done a £72 grocery shop.

K shows viewers the couple's fully stocked fridge, complete with two packs of raw chicken for cooking. Slowly, he pans over to the countertop with Flo's KFC haul.

"She came back with this bag," he says. "All I did was take a nap. Look how much chicken this is ... this is crazy."

TikTok users empathized: "Have you even done a food shop if you don't reward yourself with a take away," user @shannyfromtheshire wrote.

Mostly, they expressed how much they would also like to go to sleep and wake up to abundant amounts of fried chicken.

"I would love to take a nap and chicken has suddenly appeared," TikTok user @dancingmeercat wrote.

"One nap is all it takes for a plate of chicken ... I've been napping and still no chicken," another user, @gemmapettitt5 wrote.

The couple engaged with comments, with K saying it was good but so "random" that he doesn't know what to expect next.

"When I say her love language is food ... this is what I mean," K captioned the video, using laughing emojis and tagging #foodlover.
