Woman on Girls' Weekend Logs Onto Doorbell App, Can't Believe What She Sees

A woman received an unexpected surprise when she was far from home.

A video posted by Tyler (@tylerrae143) revealed what she saw when she logged into her Ring doorbell app while away on a girls' trip: Her husband and their dogs sweetly greeting her. Since Tyler posted the video on April 16, it has received more than 5.1 million views and over 1.4 million likes. Newsweek reached out to @tylerrae143 for comment via TikTok.

"When you log onto the Ring during girls' weekend and your husband is outside with your dogs," Tyler captioned the video. "Hopping onto the Ring at 1 am because you miss your hubs and pups while out of town."

The video shows the doorbell footage, complete with Tyler's sounds of shock and awe at her loved ones standing outside. Her husband picks up their corgi dog to show her through the camera and is met with squeals of delight from Tyler and her girlfriends. He then picks up their French bulldog, eliciting a similar reaction.

The clip comprises nearly a minute of Tyler and her friends gushing over the animals—but many in the comments were more convinced by the charm of her husband.

"Marry him again for this," @hellgirlfig wrote, while @horsedadenergy posted: "Well, internet … we have a new collective husband."

"I love how this man was like, 'The girls need to see the dogs,'" @matalinharding commented.

Many viewers could also relate to Tyler's enthusiasm for her dogs: "Everyone screaming over both dogs is such a girlie thing," @n3ar.m added.

In response to one comment asking if corgis and French bulldogs are a good match to have in the household together, Tyler wrote that, though the breeds are different, they are "so fun together." She did say, however, that the two sweet pups have been in some fights.

More Doorbell Delights

TikTok is replete with stories of heartwarming—and hilarious—Ring doorbell surprises.

In a viral video from February, a woman named Flo used her Ring doorbell to surprise her boyfriend with a massive feast from KFC: "I'm getting you a KFC and you have no idea," she whispered to the Ring camera in the video, wearing her pajamas and robe.

After a cut, Flo reappeared in front of the doorbell with the KFC bag. "It might look like I've got too much, but I didn't know what you wanted, so I got one of everything," she said.

Another viral Ring video from last month revealed an Amazon delivery driver's antics in front of a woman's doorbell camera after it alerted him that he was being recorded.

"I currently don't care because I'm Amazon," the delivery driver shouted into the woman's security camera.

"FedEx don't look like this," he said. "FedEx ain't built like this," he added and flexed his muscles.

While the woman was just expecting her order, she wrote in the comments: "Instead, I was delivered so much more."
