Woman Films Sweet Reaction to Flying With Brother as Pilot—'I Have to Brag'

A young woman from Texas went viral after sharing her reaction to getting flown home by her brother in a video that has left the internet in tears.

In a video shared on TikTok in February, under the username thepilotsdaughter, travel content creator, Skylar, explains that on top of being the daughter of a pilot and a flight attendant, she is also the sister of a United pilot.

In the clip, she can be seen meeting her brother, in full pilot uniform, at the gates before being escorted inside the plane early. After a brief tour of the cockpit, she gets comfortable in her seat, ready for the Los Angeles to Houston flight to take off.

A caption explains: "Now this flight is extra special because I've never flown on my brother's flight with him before, so no pressure. I truly felt like a VIP walking down with one of the pilots and onto the plane early."

Skylar was also lucky that the plane was almost empty, and she got an entire exit row for herself, including extra leg space.

"I have to brag on my brother really quick, there were some storms in the Houston area and he found this tiny patch of green to get us through and there was hardly any turbulence, which is so hard to do. But you know his little sister was on the flight so he had some precious cargo in the back (me)," she added.

Every day, an average of 45,000 planes fly over America's airspace, carrying over 2.9 million people, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

A survey by YouGov found that Delta Air Lines is the most popular airline among Americans, with 59 percent of respondents having a positive opinion of them. It's followed by American Airlines, Southwest, United, and Lufthansa.

Other airlines that made it to the top 10 list include Jet Blue, Alaska Airlines, British Airways, Hawaiian Airlines, and American Eagle Airlines.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 6.6 million views and 1.2 million likes on the platform.

One user, Devina, commented: "You can tell this meant the world to him." Dee said: "I can't even trust my brother's driving."

Jeon Cena added: "Nah he's so nice for taking you inside early. My brother would have either forgotten me or tell them to let me in last."
