Liza Koshy has responded following her red carpet fall at the 2024 Academy Awards on Sunday.
The Players star took a tumble while posing for photographers ahead of the annual ceremony. However, the 27-year-old took the spill in her stride, joking with reporters: "That's all right, we can get down here too" and blaming the fall on a "manhole."
While chatting with Oscars Ambassador Amelia Dimoldenberg, Koshy poked fun at her mishap.
"Did you see me eat it?" she asked Dimoldenberg, to which the presenter enquired: "What do you mean, 'eat'?"
"I fell," Koshy replied, causing Dimoldenberg to exclaim: "No you didn't."
"I'm joining a legendary group of women like J.Law who fell on the carpet," Koshy added, referencing Jennifer Lawrence's famous fall while collecting her Best Actress award in 2013.
"[I] made a whole moment of it," she continued. "I said 'Wait a minute, I'm not nominated, I'm not presenting, I've gotta fall.
"God said 'Boop, you're gonna have a character arc after this."
