AEW 'Dynamite' Results: What's Next After Brodie Lee's TNT Championship Win?

It's a new era for All Elite Wrestling as the upstart wrestling promotion will be allowing limited capacity fans on tonight's Dynamite.

This episode of Dynamite will have major implications for the All Out pay-per-view in early September starting with the tag team gauntlet match. AEW Tag Team Champions, Adam Page and Kenny Omega will take on one of these four tag teams at All Out: The Young Bucks, FTR, Best Friends and the Natural Nightmares.

Will we find out who is the better tag team between the Young Bucks and FTR? Or will we have to wait until All Out to find out?

Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara will compete in the company's first Tables Match tonight. Guevara has been the thorn in Hardy's side since his return a few weeks back, but can Hardy topple the young upstart?

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is invited to a contract signing with MJF for their title match at All Out. MJF wants to ban Moxley's finisher, the Paradigm Shift for their match but will the champ agree?

Britt Baker is finally returning to action from injury tonight when she teams up with Penelope Ford to take on Big Swole. Can Swole get her revenge on Baker and how will "The Doctor" fare in her first match in months?

In more tag team action, The Lucha Bros and Butcher and the Blade will team up to take on Brian Pillman Jr., Sonny Kiss, Joey Janela and Griff Garrison. Now that Eddie Kingston has returned to AEW to make sure the heels are on the same page, is this the start of a new faction?

Brodie Lee shocked the wrestling world when he defeated Cody to become the second TNT Champion. What will the leader of The Dark Order do with the title and what does it mean for the rest of AEW?

AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS

Tag Team Gauntlet Match

• Before the match starts, Chris Jericho comes out to join commentary.
• The Young Bucks and the Natural Nightmares start the match.
• Nick Jackson pins QT Marshall after dual knees.
• Best Friends are next.
• Trent pins Matt Jackson after a roll up. Adam Page comes out and stops Nick Jackson from breaking up the pin. Matt and Nick Jackson are confused, but Page just leaves into the stands.

• FTR are next and come out with Tully Blanchard.
• Dax Hardwood submits Chuck Taylor after a Knee Bar.

Darby Allin Video

• Darby is wearing a Rickie Starks cutout with what looks to be pins in his back. He jumps off a bridge.
• It's announced that Darby Allin and Lance Archer will be a part of the Casino Battle Royale at All Out.

Lance Archer (with Jake Roberts) vs Sean Maluta

• Archer wins via pinfall after a Blackout.
• Archer had the match won a few times, but refused to pin or lifted Maluta's head off the apron to continue to deliver pain.
• After the match, and commercial, Jake Roberts gets on the mic. He says that there will be 21 men in that Casino Battle Royale and only Lance Archer will come out.
• Taz, Brian Cage and Rickie Starks come out. Taz says that Archer won't be winning it'll be one of his men. Darby Allin's music hits and he skateboards to the ring and attacks Starks. The two brawl into the back.
• Roberts calms Archer down as he and Brian Cage talk trash to each other.

Backstage

• MJF walks out of his room with a neck brace and walker.

MJF and Jon Moxley Contract Signing

• MJF runs down Moxley's age and ability. He says that he is a wrestling prodigy and he will decimate Moxley. He says Moxley isn't a wrestler and calls him a "goon."
• MJF calls Moxley a garbage wrestler like New Jack and other comparable wrestlers. He calls himself a wrestler like the Buddy Rogers and Tully Blanchards of the world and that Moxley can't win without the Paradigm Shift.
• Moxley asks if he should sign this contract. Does he need the Paradigm Shift to beat MJF? No. He says by taking away his most dangerous weapon he's forcing him to be creative. Moxley says that he'll sign the contract, but to remember that nothing MJF says doesn't matter and that this contract doesn't matter and at All Out, MJF is a "dead man"
• After Moxley signs it, MJF and his team laugh. Moxley says that he's happy they let him add a page to the contract. Next week, he'll take on MJF's lawyer in a tune up match and if he doesn't show up, MJF doesn't get his title shot at All Out.

Lucha Bros and Butcher and The Blade (with Eddie Kingston) vs Griff Garrison, Brian Pillman Jr. Sonny Kiss, and Joey Janela

• Pentagon pins Pillman Jr. after a flurry of tag team attacks from the four heels.
• After the match, Kingston gets on the mic and says that all five of them will be in the Casino Battle Royale and one of them is winning it.

The Dark Order Promo

• The Dark Order carry a coffin out to the ramp.
• Evil Uno says that he's never been this happy since last Saturday and that The Exalted One has purchased six lawn mowers--a joke from BTE.
• Uno says that they brought out the coffin for Cody. They open the coffin to show a body in Cody merch. The body is actually of 10 and they say that they have buried the prince to make way for the king.
• Brodie Lee comes out and the members of The Dark Order celebrate with him. He walks up to Tony Schiavone to interview him in the ring.
• Lee says that back last year, everyone made fun of The Dark Order and he wasn't in AEW he was in "prison" because of the people. Lee says that there will be no open challenge, no more indie wrestlers getting tv time on TNT and Cody will never get his title back. Lee introduces Anna Jay as 99.
• Dustin and QT Marshall come out to attack The Dark Order, but the group beat the Nightmare Family down. Scorpio Sky then comes out and clears the ring and stands up to Brodie Lee. Anna Jay turns Sky around him and slaps Sky before Lee knocks him down. He leaves the ring with Anna Jay and Colt Cabana.
• Matt Cardona joins the fight as he, Dustin, QT and Scorpio Sky clear the ring of The Dark Order.

Backstage

• Adam Page is at the bar and Dasha is there to ask him why he got involved in the tag team gauntlet match. The Young Bucks walk up to him and ask why. When he doesn't answer they berate him about his drinking and insecurities and since he's been wanting out of The Elite they kick him out of their group.

Britt Baker, Reba and Penelope Ford vs Big Swole

• Before the match, Baker--still in a wheelchair--says that if Swole wins she can have a singles match with Britt whenever she wants
• Swole pins Ford
• The finish was set up when Reba goes to his Swole with Baker's crutch but misses and hits Ford.
• After the match, The Dark Order with Anna Jay come out and Evil Uno offers a place in The Dark Order to Taynara Conti. She takes it and hugs Anna Jay.

Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara - Tables Match

• Guevara wins after putting Hardy through a table

• After the match, Orange Cassidy attacks Jericho on commentary. The two brawl as Dynamite goes off air.
