Washington, D.C. People rally in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on February 27 to show support for the Biden administration’s student debt relief plan to wipe out some $400 billion in student debt for 26 million borrowers. The following day, the Court heard arguments about the plan’s constitutionality. Questions from the court’s conservative justices indicated that they may see the case as an unlawful overreach of executive power. The Court is due to rule by the end of June.
