Fly Me to the Moon

Cape Canaveral, Florida The 322-foot tall Artemis I uncrewed lunar rocket launches on November 16. It will complete a 25-and-a-half-day voyage beyond the far side of the Moon and back, with the ultimate goal of helping NASA return astronauts to the lunar surface for the first time in over 50 years. It will log about 1.3 million miles, more than any other spacecraft designed for human flight has traveled, before splashing down in the Pacific Ocean.
