Fighting Back

Mytilene, Greece Refugees and riot police on the Greek Island of Lesbos clashed on February 3. The asylum seekers were protesting against the terrible living conditions inside the Moria refugee camp—and long delays in asylum review procedures. Europe’s largest refugee camp, Moria is estimated to provide temporary shelter to some 20,000 asylum seekers who have come via boat across the Mediterranean Sea.
