Blind Faith

Mosul, Iraq—A suspected Islamic State group fighter kneels in a basement on July 3 as Iraqi forces continue their advance against the militants in Iraq’s second largest city. Though the government’s victory in Mosul signifies the extremist group’s continued loss of territory, it does not mean the end of the fighting, as ISIS still controls other small cities and towns throughout Iraq.
