Woman's Alternative Use for Walking Pad Has Internet in Stitches

Getting a walking pad to stay in shape in the comfort of your home is a great idea, but it appears that's not the only reason people buy this piece of exercise equipment.

A woman has left the internet in stitches after revealing why she bought herself a walking pad in a video that has quickly gone viral on social media.

In the hilarious clip shared on TikTok on Friday under the username kennarwood, the poster can initially be seen stepping briefly on the walking pad, while a caption reads: "What my husband thinks I bought my walking pad for, vs... "

However, the next shot reveals what she actually bought the gadget for. A subsequent caption reads: "What I actually bought it for..."

The woman can be seen arranging some Skittles on the pad after cleaning it with sanitary wipes. She props up the pad with some books and positions her mouth at the back end of it. The woman then tries to catch the falling candy from the rolling pad, just like a video game.

"I couldn't resist trying this hahaha but it's a lot more difficult than it looks, have you guys tried this??" the caption asks.

Physical activity has incredible benefits on our health, and each adult aged between 18 to 64 should do at least 150 to 300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity, or at least 75–150 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week, according to the World Health Organization.

"To help reduce the detrimental effects of high levels of sedentary behavior on health, all adults and older adults should aim to do more than the recommended levels of moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity," the WHO states.
