Woman Reveals Surprise Thing She Had Installed in Home 'Lives in My Dreams'

Ever fancied having your own stationery supplier in a spare corner of your house?

Well, one craft-loving mom-of-three set about materializing that dream for herself and has since shared her completed gift-wrapping station in a social media post that has left viewers in awe.

A dream come true 💕 My gift wrapping station! We recently shared this new gem on my home account, so I thought I would share the set up on here. My guilty pleasure for the past 3 years has been looking at gift wrapping storage on Pinterest, and I can’t believe I have my own. Whether it be a drawer, a cupboard or on the back of an under stairs cupboard door - for me it was a deal breaker when we decided to renovate our beautiful home. It’s extra, I’m extra, I love it. Who’s got a birthday coming up?! 😉 Handles @corstonarchitecturaldetail in Bronze Carpentry @blfinefurniture Worktop @bespoke_marble_granite_quartz Interiors @gingernestinteriors Paint Colour @littlegreenepaintcompany Portland Stone Pale #giftwrapping #giftwrappingcupboard #giftwrappingstation #giftwrap #gangstawrapper

The viral video, which has been viewed more than 2.9 million times since it was first shared to TikTok on February 22, showed off Emily Norris' elegant gift-wrapping station—a wardrobe unit that opens to rolls of wrapping paper, thread and ribbon, with custom-made storage spaces built in for each craft tool.

In the caption, Norris calls the gift-wrapping station "a dream come true." The caption continues: "My guilty pleasure for the past 3 years has been looking at gift wrapping storage on Pinterest, and I can't believe I have my own. Whether it be a drawer, a cupboard or on the back of an under stairs cupboard door — for me it was a deal breaker when we decided to renovate our beautiful home. It's extra, I'm extra, I love it."

Who is the inspo behind the idea?

Norris, who is a social media influencer and YouTuber, shared that she felt inspired to create her own gift-wrapping station after seeing Candy Spelling's home tour on YouTube, which featured the celeb's gift-wrapping room.

Candy Spelling is a Tony Award–winning Broadway producer, television personality and author from Beverly Hills, California. She was married Aaron Spelling, the film and television producer who is perhaps best known for creating the original Charlie's Angels television series and other TV hits, such as Dynasty and Charmed.

Candy Spelling, who was born Carole Marer, and Aaron Spelling were married from 1968 until the TV magnate's death in 2006. The pair had two children, Tori and Randy Spelling. Tori Spelling is an actor best known for starring in Beverly Hills, 90210, on which her father worked as an executive producer with Darren Star, who went on to create Sex and the City and Emily in Paris.

The Spelling family's palatial former home in Holmby Hills, California, has captured the public's attention on multiple occasions. While Candy Spelling lived at the luxury property, the mega-mansion boasted three rooms specifically designed for wrapping gifts and presents.

Some TikTokers looked back on Spelling's famous home in the comments section of Norris' post.

One user wrote, "Candy Spellings gift wrapping room is my Roman Empire!"

"Candy Spelling's gift wrapping room lives in my dreams," another user added.

What do the comments say?

Since @mrsemilynorris shared the video to TikTok, the post has been liked by over 362,000 users and commented on more than 2,000 times.

"Honestly, there is nothing I love more than rich people doing rich people stuff like it's literally my favorite thing in the world," one user wrote.

Another added, "You must go to a lot of parties."

"If I ever won the lottery, I won't tell anyone, but there would be signs," another commenter said.
