Woman Reveals the Extreme Measures Ex-Boyfriend Took to Hide Cheating

A woman from Texas has gone viral on social media after revealing the extreme lengths her ex-boyfriend went to in order to hide his affair from her.

In a post shared on TikTok on Saturday, under the username yellerweller, the young woman tells her followers: "Remember ladies, if he wanted to, he would," before detailing how the man concealed his affair.

"My ex wanted to cheat on me so badly that instead of just breaking up with me like a normal person, he went out and got an identical set of pillowcases to the ones he had at home, so that he could keep them at her place and send me cute little goodnight photos on the pillowcases and I would think that he was at home."

A caption shared along with the clip added: "Like bro why couldn't you just leave me, that's way less effort."

The poster told Newsweek that she never caught her ex in the act, but became suspicious after noticing a change in his behavior, and as soon as she pointed it out to him, he cracked.

She said: "He was suddenly acting extremely jumpy and guilty all the time around me, and I finally told him I could tell he was hiding something from me and he broke down crying and admitted that he was cheating on me.

"When I pressed for more details he told me some things he had done to hide it from me, including the identical pillowcases."

About 63 percent of Americans who have ever been in a monogamous relationship say they have never cheated on a partner, and only 33 percent admit to cheating, either physically, emotionally, or both, according to a survey by YouGov America.

However, the definition of cheated changes from person to person. As the findings of the survey show, over 88 percent of women and only 73 percent of men consider kissing another person while in a monogamous relationship as cheating.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 1.3 million views and 298,100 likes on the platform.

One user, Niccy, commented: "My ex bought a second phone so he can go spend the night at another girl's house, but he'd leave his second phone at home so his location would show he's at home."

And Heartland Harlot said: "Mine gave me and the other girl the same cute nickname so he wouldn't slip up and call one of us the wrong name."

Nika Bee added: "Watched on my home cameras my now ex hub walk his mistress into our home. He put more effort into gaslighting me that I didn't deserve and needed to earn his trust rather than just telling me the truth."
