When Will 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0' Be Released in Theaters?

Jujutsu Kaisen fans rejoice because the hit anime's prequel is coming to a theater near you.

The film is based on Gege Akutami's manga of the same name, published by Viz Media in English, and it follows high school student Yuta Okkotsu who is haunted by the cursed spirit of Rika Orimoto, his childhood friend who died in a tragic accident.

Jujutsu sorcerer Satoru Gojo takes Yuta under his wing and brings him to the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School so that he may learn how to control Rika's fearsome power, and not be controlled by it.

However, Yuta comes to the attention of villain Suguru Geto, who is determined to take the teen's power from him for his own gain.

When is 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0' Out in Theaters?

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be released in theaters across the U.S. on Friday, March 18 and tickets are available now.

The anime film will be screened with both the English dub and the subtitled version so fans can choose which they prefer to see, or, even better, see both.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is set to be released in more than 1500 theaters nationwide in America and Canada.

Select U.S. theaters will also be showing the film in IMAX, for those interested in seeing the anime on the biggest screen possible.

The film has been given a PG-13 rating in America and its screen-time is 105 minutes in total.

For those based in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, French-speaking Africa and Latin America, the film will also be released in cinemas.

How to Get Tickets for 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0'

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is being released by Crunchyroll in association with Funimation, and the streaming platform have a special website where fans can purchase their tickets for the film in the U.S. called "Crunchyroll Movie Night."

The website gives anime fans two options for purchasing their tickets, they can either buy them on Fandango or on Cineplex.

When Will 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0' Be Available to Stream Online?

As Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is being released in theaters by Crunchyroll, fans may be wondering when it will become available on the streaming platform.

Previous films given a theatrical run by Crunchyroll —including Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle of Concepts— were made available online shortly after their release in cinemas so the same is expected for Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

Currently the anime film is having an exclusively theatrical run, and Crunchyroll have not confirmed when the film will be released on its streaming platform.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is out in theaters on Friday, March 18.
