Taylor Swift Childhood Photo Goes Viral

A new Taylor Swift trend has emerged on social media where people are sharing her childhood photos to mark her incredible career path.

Swift, 34, is one of the most successful singers of all time and is no stranger to consistently smashing records, including having the highest-grossing live music tour of all time and being named Time's Person of the Year in 2023.

Now, her fans are celebrating her journey from childhood to teen-singing sensation to the recent release of her new album, The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD), which was released on April 19.

"Taylor Alison Swift, but as you keep scrolling she gets older, better, bigger and more successful: a thread about her life," wrote @NotFancy_ on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday morning.

The post went viral with 2.1 million views and shared photos from Swift as a baby until now.

It included photos from every year since her career started in 2006, including facts about her musical achievements.

"2007 : At only 17 Taylor became the first woman in history to win the CMA's horizon award. Only 6 people have ever won this album. 'This is definitely the highlight of my senior year,'" read one post.

Another post representing the year 2012 added, "'RED' era. Regarded as one of the best albums of all time, Red was the best selling album of 2012 and one of the most important. 1 #1 hit, multiple top 10s and over 25M worldwide sales."

"2019 : 'Lover' era. Lover the album in her own words is 'a love letter to love'. The album itself is a modern classic and one of the most streamed albums in history," read one post.

Swift's newly-released TTPD, a surprise double album, quickly smashed multiple records.

It became Spotify's most streamed album in one day with 300 million streams, breaking the previous record which Swift also held with her album Midnights that had 185 million listens in a day.

The song "Fortnight" featuring the rapper and singer Post Malone from TTPD also set the record as the most-streamed song in a single day.

Prior to its release, TTPD was breaking records including the most pre-saved album on Countdown Pages, a Spotify feature which allows users to preview track lists before an album release.

Swift also took the title for the biggest pop album of all time by first-day streams on Apple Music and also most-streamed album on its first day alone on Amazon Music.

If TTPD premieres in the number one spot on the Billboard charts, she will not only extend her record for the most consecutive No. 1 Billboard albums, but also the most consecutive albums to debut in the top spot.

Only The Beatles have more with 19 number one Billboard albums.
