AL Central Injury Report: Key Updates on Guardians, Twins, White Sox, and Royals Players

Here is the latest on Major League Baseball's American League Central division's injuries.

Cleveland Guardians

Gavin Williams has had some right elbow discomfort and will begin the season on the injured list however, his MRI was clear.

Trevor Stephan will undergo UCL reconstruction in the next week or two. The Guardians have not given a timetable for his return.

Daniel Espino underwent surgery on March 13 to repair his right shoulder and will miss the entire season.

Minnesota Twins

Anthony DeSclafani was expected to throw a bullpen on March 14 and start in a Minor League game on March 16 after dealing with elbow soreness.

Caleb Thielbar has a left hamstring strain but threw 24 pitches on the backfields on March 12.

Chicago White Sox

Jimmy Lambert was scheduled to have a second opinion on his injured right shoulder on Thursday in Los Angeles.

John Brebbia was expected to face hitters on Friday after dealing with a sore calf.

Prelander Berroa was sidelined Tuesday due to an injury in his arm, and shoulder and is listed as day-to-day.

Kansas City Royals

Dairon Blanco has been diagnosed with a mild calf strain following an MRI and is day-to-day.

Carlos Hernandez should throw a light bullpen session this weekend.

Jordan Lyles has some back issues but is scheduled to start Saturday's Cactus League game against the Chicago Cubs.
