Real Rabbit Hiding Among Bunny Statues at Walmart Has Shoppers in Stitches

A Walmart shopper was shocked to find a real-life rabbit perfectly camouflaged among bunny statues, as people joked that Easter decorations are becoming more realistic.

TikToker Ms. G shared a hilarious clip to the social media site earlier this month, as she noted: "One of these things is not like the other."

Ms. G, posting to her account @gonzteaching, added the hashtag "rabbits of Walmart," as she panned up a plant display peppered with animal ornaments.

But on the top shelf, next to what appears to be a ceramic rabbit, is one clearly made of flesh and blood, happily nibbling away on the plants.

In the comments, Ms. G added: "The impulse to snuggle was INTENSE." The video, which can be seen here, racked up more than 500,000 views online.

Commenters were in stitches over the disguise, as Legallynbun joked: "Damn these Easter decorations are getting more and more realistic..."

Just_slk chuckled: "Showing up early for Easter!"

Lucky'sMom thought: "So realistic!"

Randi B pointed out: "Those other two are super good holding still."

Shalei Benjamin pointed out: "Ok well now you know which one you have to buy."

"I can't even decide which ones better," Kristin Riechers wrote.

Excellent Camouflage

The real rabbit was so well camouflaged some people admitted it took them a while to spot the odd one out.

Sheri Johnson said: "Ok I CANNOT be the ONLY person who had to watch it twice to figure it out."

It took Piscesburnout even longer, as they said: "I didn't realize until the fourth watch."

Minty revealed: "I seriously saw nothing wrong and had to watch a few times before I saw him!"

Charmy added: "Took me much longer than I care to admit."

While Heidi wrote: "The number of times I had to watch this to catch it is embarrassing."

Dulcitonia admitted: "I am embarrassed at how long it took me."

It's not clear how the rabbit ended up in the store, in an unknown location. While the chain sells numerous pet supplies, including for bunnies, it doesn't sell live animals.

The website claims animals aren't allowed inside, with one exception. "Walmart welcomes service animals as defined by the ADA in our stores, and we recognize the important role they play in many of our customers' lives. We do not allow pets in our stores," it said online.

It's not the first animal that has ended up inside the superstore recently, after a deer somehow got inside an outlet in Wisconsin.

A TikTok video, shared to @mgmuddy2x, showed a security guard tackling the deer on the ground.

The clip, now seen more than 11 million times, is said to have been filmed in Baraboo, as the on-screen text says: "Walmart employee tackles a deer that was inside of Walmart."
