Prince William's 'Intense' Looks at Kate Middleton Caught on Camera

The Prince and Princess of Wales have become the subjects of a new viral post on the social-media site TikTok as fans have highlighted a series of intense looks offered by William to his wife during official engagements.

Interest in William and Kate's relationship grew in the closing months of 2023, after their early dating life was dramatized in the final season of Netflix's hit royal drama The Crown.

The couple met while studying at college in 2001 in Scotland, and their relationship became public three years later. William proposed during a vacation in Kenya in 2010 and the couple married at Westminster Abbey, London, a year later, in front of a global audience estimated at more than 100 million people.

Over the course of their 12-year marriage, William and Kate have undertaken joint and separate diaries of official appearances and events. On the occasions they have undertaken engagements together, fans have been quick to spot any brief moments of public displays of affection between the two, which often quickly go viral on social media.

Uploaded to TikTok by @teamwalesfamily on January 23, one of the latest of these postshas focused on moments where William has been photographed looking affectionately at his wife throughout their years together.

Captioned "William looking at Catherine >>>" and "William: HUSBAND IN LOVE!" the post features 11 images captured during royal engagements where William is gazing at his wife: in some, biting his lip; in others, broadly smiling; and in one, kissing her on the head.

The upload has been viewed over 359,000 times on the social-media platform so far, gaining more than 15,800 likes and over 265 comments, many of which have praised the royals and their relationship.

"I look at her like that too!!! She's beautiful," wrote one user.

"This guys looks for his wife are next level intense," posted another, with a further comment reading: "They are adorable couple."

Fans have increased social-media posts about Kate in particular over recent weeks after it was announced by Kensington Palace in London that she had undergone planned abdominal surgery on January 16.

The princess was hospitalized for 13 nights following the surgery—the cause of which has not been made public—and is expected to be out of the public eye until after Easter while she recuperates with William and the couple's three children: Prince George, 10; Princess Charlotte, 8; and Prince Louis, 5.
