Prince Harry and Prince William Touching Moments Go Viral

A video compilation showing Prince Harry and Prince William's brotherly moments has proven a hit on social media, as Harry is set to attend a special 10th anniversary service of thanksgiving for his Invictus Games tournament in London on May 8.

Harry and William's relationship has become the focus of increased public scrutiny and speculation since the former's split from the monarchy with Meghan Markle in 2020 and subsequent move to the U.S.

In the years since their move, both Harry and Meghan have discussed the tensions within the royal family that contributed to their decision to step down from their official roles. In 2023, Harry said that part of the intention behind writing his memoir, Spare, was to dispel the long-held belief that both he and William were close during their childhood and adolescence.

William did not respond to the book or his brother's claims, in line with a blanket "no comment" position adopted by Buckingham Palace at the time of its publication.

In the absence of any public interactions between the brothers since 2022, fans have taken to social media to share clips and photographs from past public and private engagements depicting their connection.

Uploaded to TikTok by user @windsorofficiel, on April 28, a compilation of clips showing touching moments between William and Harry has gone viral, gaining over 150,000 views on the platform so far.

One of the main clips used shows the brothers at Harry's 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle that took place at St George's Chapel, Windsor, the same location where King Charles III and Queen Camilla had their marriage blessing 13 years earlier.

William stood as his brother's second at the high altar of the chapel as they awaited the arrival of the bride, a role Harry played at William's wedding to Princess Kate in 2011.

Also included in the video is footage from Harry's 1984 christening, which was held at Windsor Castle. In the clip, two-year-old William is seen sitting next to his brother, as King Charles points out the historic christening gown being worn by Harry—who is held by Princess Diana.

Another touching clip shows the brothers on one of the most difficult days of their lives, that of their mother's funeral in September 1997.

After Diana's tragic death at the age of 36 following a high-speed Paris car crash, her sons (Harry, 12, and William, 15) walked behind her coffin in a funeral procession from St James's Palace to Westminster Abbey.

Captioned "Brothers ❤️," the TikTok video has received in excess of 5,000 likes and numerous comments, many of which have discussed the princes' relationship today and how it has developed.

"I hope that one day both brothers heal because they have been [through] so much ❤️," wrote one user.

"I would never thought that this could happen to these brothers, so so sad 😢," posted another, with a further comment reading: "I pray these two brothers can heal from the past and reunite, princess Diana would be so happy seeing them together again 💞."

The last time the brothers were photographed together in public was during the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. Harry attended his father, King Charles III's coronation in 2023, however, he did not interact with William in public.
