Powerball Results, Numbers for 5/27/20: Did Anyone Win the $115.5 Million Jackpot on Wednesday (Last) Night?

The winning numbers in last night's Powerball draw were 38, 58, 59, 64, and 68, and the Powerball was 21. The Powerball jackpot was worth an estimated $115.5 million—but did anyone win?

Nobody won the jackpot last night so it has rolled over to Saturday night's drawing when it will be worth an estimated $125 million with a cash option of $100.4 million. In last night's draw, nobody won the Match Five prize of $1 million either.

However, seven players matched four numbers and the Mega Ball in Tuesday night's draw and won $50,000 each. Plus, three players matched four numbers and the Mega Ball using the Power Play, which was 3X last night, and won $150,000 each.

More than 180 players won $100 by matching four numbers and more than 60 players used the Power Play to win $300. Another 462 players also won $100 each but by matching three numbers and the Mega Ball and more than 150 did the same using the Power Play.

Almost 13,000 players matched three numbers and won $7 while more than 3,700 did the same using the Power Play and won $21. More than 10,300 players also won $7 but by matching two numbers and the Powerball and more than 3,000 did the same using the Power Play and won $21.

More than 80,700 players won $4 each by matching one number and the Powerball, with more than 25,100 players doing the same using the Power Play, winning $12. Finally, more than 225,000 players matched only the Powerball and also won $4 each, with more than 70,800 doing the same using the Power Play.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday at 10.59 p.m. ET when the jackpot will be worth an estimated $125 million, though the final jackpot amount could change depending on the sales.

In March, Powerball updated the starting jackpot amount and rollover increases to adjust to changes in the market. Since then, the starting jackpot is $20 million (annuity) with a minimum rollover increase of $2 million between drawings. The updates came into place as statewide stay-at-home orders were put in place across the U.S.

Gregory Mineo, Powerball Product Group Chairman and Maine Lottery Director, said in a statement in March: "Powerball players in many U.S. lottery jurisdictions are under shelter-in-place orders or recommendations from their governors or mayors, which have affected normal consumer behaviors.

"Just like other enterprises around the world that are making adjustments, we are making proactive changes to continue to offer the world's premier lottery product."

Mega Millions enforced similar changes, with a starting jackpot of $20 million but no guaranteed rollover increases.
