Sony is hosting its annual Black Friday sale a little early, which means now through December 6, gamers have the opportunity to save big on some of the best games of the PS4 console generation. While we'd advise checking out all three of the links up above, since there are slight variations in selection, these are the essential deals being offered by all three storefronts right now. Especially if you're a PS4 owner who isn't quite ready to make the jump to PS5 this year, many of these deals are quite attractive. Given their zeitgeist status, we'd advise taking a look at The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima and Marvel's Spider-Man first. And while these next two games are getting a bit old these days, it's also impossible to ignore the allure of complete versions of Horizon and God of War for just $10.
If you are on PS5, however, this sale basically isn't for you. PS5 owners who have PlayStation Plus already have access to many of these titles through the PlayStation Plus Collection, although those who haven't subscribed can get in on the action for just $45. Sony exclusives are generally the best games for any PlayStation platform, so if you've got a loved one with a PS4, most of the games featured in this sale are sure to please.
