Owner Showing Off Their 'Level 10 Guard Dog' Leaves Internet in Stitches

Guard dogs can come in all shapes and sizes, but social media users were left laughing after seeing how one tiny pup chooses to stand guard over his home.

In a viral TikTok video posted by user @macro0532, the dog was lifted up to the window so he could see outside, and he immediately shifted to his protective stance. The dog didn't hesitate to bounce up and sit on his hind legs, and he remained perfectly poised and alert as he watched the world go by.

Since the clip was shared Monday, the "level 10 guard dog" has delighted many and earned plenty of praise online. The viral video has already been viewed more than 11.3 million times and gained over 2.7 million likes as TikTok users lauded the dog's dedication and tireless work ethic.

The tiny pup is sure to keep the neighborhood safe because no one would dare cross this little guy.

A lot can be distinguished from a dog's body language. The American Kennel Club (AKC) says this is how it can communicate emotions and intentions to people and other dogs. We all know the significance of a dog wagging its tail, but it isn't always a positive sign. The AKC says that it can signal frustration, excitement, alertness and, of course, overall happiness.

Posture is also key. It can show whether a dog is feeling stressed, nervous, intrigued or relaxed, and it's usually clear to see. Another aspect for owners to look out for is eye contact. The AKC says that a hard stare can be a sign of a threat, but if the dog looks away it might be trying to diffuse the tension.

Evidently, this tiny security dog refuses to shy away from any threats outside his home, and he watches what's going on intently. Since the video went viral on TikTok, the owner has posted more videos of his antics, even putting the dog in adorable uniforms.

The initial video has already gained more than 9,300 comments on TikTok, leading many to praise his hard work and devotion to the role of guard dog.

One comment reads: "Amazing form, a true professional."

Another responded: "He started his shift the moment he sat by the window."

One TikTok user joked: "He was a meerkat in his past life."

Newsweek reached out to @macro0532 via TikTok for comment and could not verify the details of the case.
