'Nerdle' #37 Equation Answer and Hints - Friday, February 25, 2022

While there is a little overlap, solving a Nerdle equation takes a very different skill set from what you would need to crack a Wordle puzzle.

For a start, you have to fill in eight tiles here as opposed to just five. After all, you've not only got to match the right numerical characters, but also to figure out the placement of arithmetic symbols like the multiply or divide signs.

Then you must verify that your equation is even logical to begin with, otherwise you will get an error message informing you that it does not compute. In short, Nerdle adds an extra complication to the standard Wordle formula, by testing your math expertise as well as your logical deduction abilities.

With that being said, these brainteasers are surprisingly tricky. You can find yourself overwhelmed by the sheer volume of possibilities here, as the game's website says that there are 17,723 correct answers stored in its database and whittling down those options is by no means easy.

To help you beat the latest puzzle on February 25 in just a couple of guesses, Newsweek has prepared a few hints and tips. Incidentally, if you want a more general guide about how to play Nerdle, we've got you covered on that.
