Since marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan Markle has met a number of world leaders during official and private visits overseas with her husband, from presidents to prime ministers, often winning praise for her stylish outfit choices on these high-profile occasions.
Meghan has become known for her timeless and pared-back style, often utilizing a color palette in shades of beige, earth tones and neutrals.
When a working member of the royal family between 2018 and 2020, Meghan and Harry undertook a number of overseas tours and visits, representing not only the monarchy but also the British government.
The majority of these included Commonwealth nations and were heavily covered by both the British and world media.
After the couple's split from the royal family in 2020, both Meghan and Harry have continued to travel around the world to pursue their philanthropic work. Though the duchess' work is the core focus during these, fans and the fashion press eagerly anticipate and report on what she chooses to wear.

Andrew Holness of Jamaica
Meghan's most recent run-in with a world leader came in January when she attended the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love with Prince Harry in Jamaica.
On the red carpet, the duke and duchess were photographed meeting Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife, Juliet Holness, engaged in a warm exchange of words.
For the occasion, Meghan made a striking impression in a black ballgown-shaped skirt from one of her favorite fashion labels, Carolina Herrera. The duchess paired the skirt with a simple black bodice with spaghetti straps and gold and diamond jewelry.
Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand
Meghan's first major overseas tour as a member of the royal family was made in October 2018, when she and Prince Harry visited a number of South Pacific nations including Australia and New Zealand.
During their stay in New Zealand, Harry and Meghan were photographed attending a number of events with then-Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
At a reception hosted in Wellington, Ardern and the duchess were photographed both wearing black evening dresses. Meghan's was designed by Uruguay-American fashion designer Gabriella Hearst.
Malcolm Turnbull of Australia
Prior to their South Pacific tour, the duke and duchess attended a special reception held at the Australian High Commission in London to mark the upcoming Invictus Games, which was held in Sydney during their visit.
For the reception, Meghan paired a floral print dress by Self-Portrait with a classic cut navy blazer and was photographed meeting the then-Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnball and his wife, Lucy Turnball.
King Mohammed II of Morocco
In February 2019, Meghan adapted her royal wardrobes to accommodate a royal tour while pregnant with her first child, Prince Archie.
Together with Prince Harry, the duchess paid a short official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco where the couple attended a specially arranged meeting with King Mohammed VI and members of his family.
For the meeting, Meghan wowed in a flowy blue gown designed by Carolina Herrera, accessorized with a gold handbag and shoes, and diamond Cartier earrings.
Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa
The duke and duchess' last official visit as working royals before stepping down and moving to the U.S. was an extended tour of South Africa, for which they were accompanied by their four-month-old son, Archie.
For an official photograph with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and his wife, Tshepo Motsepe, Meghan wore a classically tailored trench coat dress with contrast buttons and a waist tie designed by Canadian fashion brand Nonie.
