The Mega Millions lottery game results for October 26, offering a jackpot prize of $20 million, with a cash-value option of $14 million, were revealed on Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET.
The numbers drawn last night were 6, 14, 19, 56 and 62 for the white balls, while the yellow Mega Ball was 9 and the Megaplier was 4x.
There were no winners of the top jackpot prize, but one lucky ticket holder bagged the second-prize, valued at $1 million. The winner's second prize would have been worth $4 million had they purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1.
Seven players correctly matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, winning them each $10,000. One of them bought the Megaplier, which raised their third prize to $40,000.
There were 194 ticket holders who matched four white balls but not the Mega Ball, which won them each $500, with 47 of them each earning the Megaplier prize of $2,000.
A batch of 581 players who also matched three white balls, earning them each $200, with 126 of the winners each bagging the Megaplier prize of $800.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be on Friday, October 29, at 11 p.m. ET, for a jackpot prize of $22 million, with a cash-value option of $15.4 million.
Last Friday's game saw one lucky grand prize winner. A ticket holder in Arizona won the $108 million jackpot, which reset Tuesday's drawing to the $20 million minimum.
A player in Georgia matched the first five white balls, and minus the Mega Ball, earning the second prize of $1 million. Had they purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1, their second prize would have been worth $3 million.
How to Play Mega Millions
Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, while one yellow Mega Ball is drawn from balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.
Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot prize, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing.
Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs an additional $1 per play and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn from a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.
