Man Finds Secret Drawer in Home Lived in For Years—Is Warned 'Don't Open'

A man has shocked the internet after revealing that the New York house he had been living in for two years has a secret drawer.

The viral video, which has been viewed more than 11 million times since it was first shared to TikTok on January 24, captured the man opening up about his eerie discovery.

"So, we've lived in this house for just over two years now and we just discovered something last night," the man shared in the post.

"Here's this nice little closet that we use for our pantry," he wrote.

Viewers were shown the man walking down to his basement and turning the handle of a small white door.

"From this view up here of the shelf down there, everything seems normal, but then last night I went down there and there's this handle," he continued.

The man then focused his camera on a small wooden door in the bottom corner of the pantry.

"This is like a secret drawer. It pulls out, I peeked and there's definitely some stuff inside of there. I haven't really looked at what it is yet. My wife says that's not her drawer and that it is the house's drawer, and that the house needs privacy and to leave it alone," he said.

The man updated viewers in the post's comments section once he had braved investigating the mysterious drawer.

"Okay I opened it! It's a shoeshine kit? Can't decide if I'm underwhelmed or I think it's cool. I did post an update video," he wrote.

The post had been captioned: "Just discovered this secret drawer in our house. To explore or not to explore."
