'Well That Was Fast' MAGA Reacts to Trump's Iowa Win

Former President Donald Trump's supporters flooded social media with reactions to numerous news outlets calling the Republican Iowa caucuses in the MAGA leader's favor roughly a half hour after they began, celebrating his "fast" win.

Trump's GOP rivals former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are vying for second place.

In an interview with Fox News Digital after the results were called at around 8:30 p.m. EST, Trump said that he felt "great," saying, "I am greatly honored by such an early call."

The MAGA leader has maintained a healthy lead in the crowded pool of Republican candidates ahead of the 2024 presidential election, leading Haley, DeSantis and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy by double digits according to multiple polls.

Newsweek reached out via email on Monday night to Trump's representatives for comment.

Allies of the former president, and frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination, were quick to weigh in on his projected Iowa victory, touting it as "incredible" and "spectacular" in social media posts.

The former president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., referred to his father's win on Monday night as "fast."

"Well, that was fast," Trump Jr. said. "Thank you Iowa. Now let's end this nonsense and go after the insanity that is today's Democrat party. Enough is enough! It's time to put America first for a change."

Laura Loomer, a far-right activist and staunch Trump ally, took to X, formerly Twitter, to celebrate the news. In the X post, Loomer shared an image of CBS News results from the Iowa caucuses and called on Trump's GOP rivals to drop out.

"TIME FOR EVERY GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE TO DROP OUT TONIGHT AND ENDORSE PRESIDENT TRUMP!!!" Loomer posted on X.

Former Arizona GOP candidate Kari Lake in a post on X urged Republicans to unite and support Trump.

"Congratulations to President Donald J. Trump on his incredible victory in the Iowa Primary," Lake said in the social media post. "My birthplace of Iowa is full of working-class Americans who value the work he did to Make America Great Again. He gave them four years of historic peace and prosperity. America is ready to have that again. It's time for this primary to come to an end. I urge Republicans to unite around President Trump as our nominee and focus on defeating @JoeBiden."

Conservative political pundit Charlie Kirk blasted DeSantis and Haley in a post on X, saying Trump's opponents "wasted" millions of dollars campaigning against him.

"TRUMP WINS! I was told DeSantis and Nikki were going to shock the world," Kirk said in the X post. "Over $250 million wasted. Now lets end this charade and move on to the general."

Rudy Giuliani, former New York City mayor and Trump's former lawyer said he was "calling" Iowa for the former president shortly after 8:30 p.m. EST.

"I've seen enough," Giuliani posted on X at 8:37 p.m. "'America's Mayor Live'" is calling Iowa for Trump. President Donald J. Trump is going to win the 2024 Iowa Caucus by a HISTORIC MARGIN."
