Laughter as Yorkshire Terrier Demands to Be Pushed on the Swings Like a Kid

When you're taking your kids to the park, the last thing you expect to stumble across in their designated play area is a dog sitting in a swing. Well, one pet owner has proved that nothing is impossible!

They recently shared a video of their dog, a Yorkshire terrier, swinging with glee from a playground swing designed for small children. The viral moment has left the internet in hysterics.

The social media video, viewed more than 24 million times since it was first shared to TikTok on January 15, introduced TikTokers to Tank the dog and his love of playground swings.

Viewers were treated to a clip of the dog sitting happily in the swing, which is attached to a long leash being held by his owner. His owner, who filmed the viral moment, was seated on a bench in front of the swing from where they can easily swing the dog by gently tugging on the leash.

The post had been captioned: "Park day".

To the amusement of thousands, it appears that this was not Tank's first time testing out a child's playground swing. The seasoned pro at swinging was captured enjoying the same park swing in a different post which can be seen here, that had been shared to the dog's account in March 2023 and viewed more than 26 million times.

"Fully expected a child to be in the swing," one user wrote.

Another user added: "One day I will be doing this. Our little Yorkie Flash Gordon crossed to rainbow bridge months ago."

"I thought it was a kid and it's a little dog," shared a third TikToker.

A different user commented: "[Oh my God] this is so cute."

"Here I thought there was a baby in there, I meant a child," another TikToker wrote.
