The hilarious moment a cat made his feelings clear to his owner has left the internet in stitches.
With over 2 million views, the post from @jacklovesmexicans caught the moment his cat Misa made it clear visitors are not welcome in his custom-made cardboard box fort.
In a cozy makeshift residence that has become a sanctuary for the ginger and white feline, he is curled up contentedly when his owner politely knocks on the "door" of the cardboard creation.
But Misa apparently is not in the mood for company and quickly responds by staring at the camera before swiftly swiping his paw in a humorous attempt to deter the unwelcome visitor.
"Blawg does NOT want visitors," the text overlay read, setting the tone for the comical standoff between the curious owner and the privacy-loving cat.
While not every cat has the luxury of a personalized cardboard box house, the video highlights a universal truth about feline behavior—they love a cardboard box.
Cats are known to seek out enclosed spaces like boxes, tapping into their instincts as ambush predators. These spaces provide a sense of security, warmth and protection, essential elements for a cat's well-being.
Boxes also serve as a source of entertainment for cats, offering a stimulating environment for exploration, play and stress relief. While a cardboard texture in particular allows cats to indulge their natural behaviors, such as scratching and shredding.
It is little surprise that Misa wants to keep his area to himself, too, as cats are very territorial animals who like their own space. Despite this, it appears that Misa's short swipe is more playful than aggressive.
TikTok users headed to the comments section to share their thoughts and reactions to Misa's anger.
"You could see the violence in his eyes," said viewer Gregory. While another joked: "He said no solicitors!!!!"
Gavin left a comment from the point of view of Misa and joked: "This is my private domicile, and I shall not be harassed."
While another viewer quipped: "I see he lives in a Stand Your Ground state."
While Natuhhlee said it was a sentiment she could relate to and joked: "Me when someone shows up to my house unexpectedly."
