Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone Oscars Moment Sends Internet Into Meltdown

People watching the Oscars are losing their minds over an iconic moment in this year's ceremony.

Ryan Gosling performed the hit "I'm Just Ken" from the movie Barbie and jumped into the crowd to offer Emma Stone this microphone so she could sing along.

Gosling gave an electric performance of the joke song and it included cameos from the song's writer Mark Ronson, the other 'Kens' from the movie such as Ncuti Gatwa, Simu Liu, Scott Evans and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Guns 'N' Roses guitarist, Slash, also appeared to perform during the number.

He started the song from his seat in the Oscars audience behind Margot Robbie, wearing all pink, including gloves and a cowboy hat before heading on stage.

At one point during the song, Gosling came back into the audience as instructions on the big screens told audience members to sing along.

The actor walked over to Barbie director Greta Gerwig and his co-stars American Ferrera and Margot Robbie, to get them to sing lines into the microphone.

Then he went up to one other person, Stone, to get her to sing too.

She was up for and won, Best Actress for her role in Poor Things and enthusiastically sang along when presented with the microphone.

The moment was not lost on fans watching at home who pointed out it was a reunion for Gosling and Stone who starred in the movies, La La Land and Crazy Stupid Love together.

"RYAN GOSLING AND EMMA STONE U WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED BY ME!! CRAZY STUPID LOVE, LA LA LAND, IM JUST KEN OSCARS PERFORMANCE...WHO IS DOING IT LIKE THEM?" wrote @ainsleyhcyes on X, formerly Twitter.

Another person, @stilesledger, added: "EMMA STONE & RYAN GOSLING SINGING IM JUST KEN UGHHHH I LOVE THEM."

And a third, @hoaxcarter, added: "RYAN GOSLING X EMMA STONE MOMENT WE WON"

While "I'm Just Ken" missed out on the Best Song Oscar, it did go to another song from Barbie.

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas won the Academy Award for their song, "What Was I Made For?"

An emotional Eilish thanked Gerwig for making the movie and her childhood friend Zoe in her acceptance speech, "for playing Barbies with me."

"I feel so incredibly lucky and honored," said Eilish, and dedicated the Oscar to "everyone affected by the movie and how incredible it was."
