Howard Stern Predicts 'Another Civil War' in Viral Herschel Walker Rant

Howard Stern predicted the U.S. will descend into "another Civil War," as he ranted about Herschel Walker's chances of emerging victorious in the Georgia Senate race.

Republican Walker holds a slim lead over Democrat Raphael Warnock in the still too-close-to-call key race, according to a number of the most recent surveys.

As the polls open in the midterm elections on Tuesday, the Donald Trump-endorsed Walker is ahead of Warnock in several final polls, although none of them show him passing the 50 percent threshold needed to avoid a December run-off.

According to the final Landmark Communications poll, Walker leads Senator Warnock by 47 percent to 46. The survey, seen as one of the most accurate polling groups by poll trackers FiveThirtyEight and Real Clear Politics, was conducted with 1,214 likely voters, with a margin of error of 2.8 percent, meaning the race could still go either way.

Speaking on a recent installment of his SiriusXM show, Stern expressed dismay at the news that former NFL running back Walker is currently a strong contender in the race, as he analyzed the overall political climate.

"Everyone's just feeling really empowered to say whatever dumb f****** thing is on their brain. And then they go, 'Oh, come on,'" Stern said, as he discussed the recent onslaught of headlines regarding antisemitism.

"'Free speech. Free speech,'" Stern's co-host Robin Quivers shouted.

"'Heil Hitler. Now let's move on. Hitler threw the Jews in the ovens. Leave me alone. I just wanna say things like that. I just wanna... say what I have to say,'" Stern mimicked.

Turning his focus directly on the Georgia Senate race, Stern went on: "Some of these candidates that people are actually—f****** Herschel Walker. Holy f***. They're saying he's gonna win in Georgia.

"Are you f****** dummies? They always talk about another Civil War. I think there is gonna be one. I mean, how the f*** could you elect that guy? You got to be out of your f****** skull."

"I don't care what party, what you believe, what you think would be good for America, would you really vote for this f******—I don't know what the f*** he is," Stern added. "I was gonna say like mental case. But I don't even know if that's fair to mental cases. I just don't know."

Walker, who has called for a national abortion ban, was forced to defend himself last month after two women claimed that he impregnated them and paid for their abortions. Walker has denied the claims.

Walker held a news conference in response to the latest claim, saying: "I'm done with this foolishness. I've already told people this is a lie."

"I also want to let you know I didn't kill JFK either," Walker added.

GOP Senator Lindsey Graham, who appeared with Walker at the press conference, said he's "seen this movie before" and drew parallels between the new accusations against Walker and the allegations made about Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

"Here's the game plan Herschel: Get a celebrity lawyer, like [Michael] Avenatti who is now in jail, get a celebrity lawyer to come out and make a wild accusation right before it's time to make a decision about who should be on the Supreme Court, or who should be in the Senate," Graham said, adding that voters wouldn't tolerate the claims and that there would be "a backlash in Georgia."
