Guy Fieri Sits Courtside at NBA Game With Lookalike Son

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Guy Fieri recently enjoyed a boys' night out with his youngest son, Ryder, who resembles his celebrity chef dad right down to his trademark spiked hair.

Fieri shared a photo of himself and Ryder, 18 — he also shares son Hunter, 27, with wife Lori ¸— on the Jumbotron at a Phoenix Suns game last week, during which Phoenix defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 97-87.

"Last night at the @suns game ☀️," Fieri, 56, captioned the photo with his lookalike son and friend Ryan. "Good people, Great times, Thank you!!"

The Food Network personality sat in between Ryder and Ryan, rocking his iconic ice blond spiked hair, skunk-striped goatee and sunglasses. Fieri, who also sported a deep tan, smiled at the camera. Interestingly enough, Ryan not only matched Fieri's expression — but also his entire look (except for the platinum 'do), complete with similar iced out chains.

Ryder, meanwhile, preferred his hair in a more neutral shade of blond, though he shared a similar cut to his dad.

Fans immediately noticed — and couldn't help but comment — on Fieri and Ryder's hair. "Bottled Blonde was a vibe last night," wrote one Instagram follower, while another shared a GIF that read, "Bleach Hair Party."

Others couldn't help but roast (pun intended) Fieri's tan.

"Bro is the phoenix sun," another fan wrote. "Were you ON the sun? 🥵," commented a fourth person.

Food Network viewers have been introduced to both Hunter and Ryder over the years on various iterations of their dad's multiple shows. Hunter, for his part, produced 13 episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and has also served as occasional on-air talent alongside his father. In December, he got engaged to pickleball pro Tara Bernstein.

As for Fieri's kids' own piece of his fortune, they have to earn it.

"I've told them the same thing my dad told me," the Guy's Grocery Games host told Fox News in December 2023. "My dad says, 'When I die, you can expect that I'm going to die broke, and you're going to be paying for the funeral.' And I told my boys, 'None of this that I've been building are you going to get unless you come and take it from me.'"

He added: "Shaq said it best ... if you want any of this cheese, you've got to get me two degrees," Fieri jokingly said. "My two degrees means postgraduate."
