When a singer takes the stage on Fox's celebrity competition show The Masked Singer, viewers generally need to close their eyes to help guess which famous face is hiding behind the elaborate costume obscuring their identity.
But one visual clue can help narrow down the field before the first note is hit. When you see someone towering over 6-foot-tall host Nick Cannon, chances are that you have a professional athlete on your hands.
Such was the case in Season 10 when (spoiler alert) the 6-foot-7-inch Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, was unmasked as "Cuddle Monster." His performance of "You Got It (The Right Stuff)" by New Kids on the Block wasn't enough to keep him on the show for another week.
Week 6 of Season 11 brought the unmasking of two former professional athletes (spoilers below). The season continues Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
