Woman Films Dog Joining Her Little Sisters' Night In: 'Cutest Thing Ever'

A girls' night in is a wholesome experience for all involved, full of beauty, bonding, and more—so much so that even pampered pooches want to get involved.

At least, that's what happened when April Dirteater's dachshund, Lola, invited herself to her owner's night in with her younger sisters—and a video of the moment has won the hearts of viewers on TikTok.

Dirteater, who has owned the pup for four years, was enjoying a fun evening with her younger sisters, Amber and Autumn Roby (10 and five years old), when Lola clearly realized she was missing out on the action.

Speaking to Newsweek, Dirteater said, "We were kicking off girls' night with Amber reading Autumn a book while I curl my hair. Then, we curl our hair, do manicures, pedicures, and facials."

The viral video, which has gained over 4.9 million views and 909,000 likes since being shared on March 24, shows Lola sitting on her back paws next to the sisters as Amber reads them both a book.

The dog took it upon herself to join in, as Dirteater explained, "Lola came in to the room on her own—she likes to sit on two feet when she wants her belly rubbed. She loves story time, but she was really wanting the girls to rub her belly."

Dirteater, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, added, "She loves it when my siblings come over. She will follow them around and be included however she can."

Lola, having enjoyed the first part of the evening, then decided to stay with the girls for the remainder of their pamper session—and it's not the first time Lola has taken an interest in beauty.

"She really does love being included and will just sit there by our feet while we paint our toes and do our hair," Dirteater said.

"She doesn't like to miss out."

What Do the Comments Say?

Viewers of the video were obsessed with the adorable scene, dubbing the dog a "girls' girl" and calling the interaction the "cutest thing ever."

"I love it! Every girl needs a dog!" said one user.

Another asked, "Is she a girl? I feel like some girl dogs just know they're girls and are just super classy lol."

"This will probably be a core memory for all of them," said a third.

Other dog owners weren't sure their pets would be as interested in the evening as Lola. One commented: "The way she is sitting. My daxie would be trying to chew something."
