Broadway reopens on September 14, with a string of performances beginning on Tuesday in New York City.
The opening marks the highly anticipated return of the city's theater industry, which was on hiatus for over a year amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Back in May, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a statement: "We are now on track to allow full capacity performances on Broadway to resume beginning this September, bringing back this beloved world-famous attraction."
All owners and operators of the 41 Broadway theaters in New York City will require COVID-19 vaccinations for audience members, performers, backstage crew and theater staff, for all performances through October this year, according to Broadway.org, the official website of The Broadway League, the national trade association for the Broadway theater industry.
Masks will also be required for audiences inside the theater, except while eating or drinking in certain locations, the website says.

Wicked

Aladdin

The Phantom of the Opera
