Bridesmaid Forced to Make Unexpected Pitstop Before Wedding: 'Panic'

The morning of a wedding can be exciting and stressful as there's so much to do before the bride walks down the aisle—while a dental appointment is rarely on the list, one bridesmaid was forced to make an unexpected pitstop before her best friend's big day.

Millie Knight, 29, has recently gone viral on TikTok after sharing the chaotic events that occurred ahead of the wedding. At the time of writing, the slide show of photos revealing Knight's chipped tooth and dentist trip had received a million views.

She told Newsweek: "This particular tooth is an implant so it's screwed in and has been fine for over five years, which is what was so crazy when I was brushing my teeth after getting my makeup done to get ready to go to the church and it just snapped off and went down the plug hole."

"I hadn't had my hair done yet and wasn't long until we were going to the church so you can imagine the panic on my face when I looked in the mirror."

At age 13, Knight had a hockey accident that left her without a tooth. The bridal party were also present at the time, which is why they found the incident so funny.

Knight told Newsweek: "They have seen me through all my tooth dramas."

She explained the bride thought it was "hilarious," which was a huge relief.

Knight, who lives in Gold Coast, Australia, told Newsweek: "As funny as it was, all I cared about was not wanting to ruin the day or my best friend's wedding pictures with me smiling with half a tooth!"

"I was asking everyone where to go as I haven't lived in the UK for years and luckily the photographer happened to know a place so I called them immediately and explained my situation and begged them to squeeze me in. They were amazing!"

She forked out $200 on the temporary fix and was out of the dentist's chair within 10 minutes.

"Fortunately I didn't cause any delays. I can't believe how quickly I was able to get there and back and the appointment was so speedy. I raced back just in time to chuck my dress on, have a few curls put in my hair, and then off we went to the church."

So far, the video captioned: "The most me thing to ever happen" has 19,900 likes.

"I love how you still managed to smile through it all!!" complimented one user.

Another said: "This happened to me 2 weeks before my wedding and then it fell off AGAIN, tragic."
