  • Final Fantasy XVI for $42. Originally $70. This cinematic experience and the latest game in the Final Fantasy series follows protagonist Clive Rosfield through a fantasy story featuring political machinations between warring kingdoms and the magic powers of godlike creatures called Eikons.
  • God of War Ragnarök for $30. Originally $60. The latest installment in the God of War series. This game won awards in 2022 for its vocal performances, narrative and action/adventure experience.
  • Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. The sequel was released earlier this year to critical acclaim. Now is a great time to revisit the first game, remastered with graphics worthy of the PS5's hardware.
  • Hogwarts Legacy for $42. Originally $70. Set in the Harry Potter universe in the late 19th century, this game delighted fans when it was released early this year.
  • Resident Evil 4 for $40. Originally $60. This remake of Resident Evil 4, originally released in 2005, faithfully re-created the base game's horror experience with huge graphics and gameplay improvements.
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt—Complete Edition for $15. Originally $50. Hunt monsters and track down Ciri, the lost Child of Prophecy, as Geralt of Rivia. According to Metacritic, Witcher 3 remains one of the best games for PS5.

Is It Worth Buying a PS5 in 2023?

Three years after its launch, Sony's PlayStation 5 remains one of the best gaming consoles available. The console boasts top-tier gaming hardware that can run graphically demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Some gamers felt that the console's library was lacking at launch. However, their concerns have been quelled now that award-winning games like Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3 and Resident Evil 4 are available.

The PS5 also boasts several incredible PlayStation-exclusive games, like Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Ghost of Tsushima and God of War Ragnarök.

PS5 owners are also looking forward to upcoming games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Star Wars: Outlaws, both expected to launch on the console in 2024.
