Woman Kicks Child at Diamondbacks Game in Viral Video

A woman has been caught kicking a child while in the audience of an Arizona Diamondbacks game—and now a video of the incident has gone viral online.

The footage was uploaded to TikTok on Sunday by user Sierra Raven, with the caption: "Left field bleachers at Chase field get wild ...GO DBACKS!" Chase Field is the ballpark of the Diamondbacks, located in Phoenix, Arizona. At the time of writing the clip had been viewed 998,300 times.

While it hasn't been confirmed which game the video was filmed at, the Diamondbacks played against the St. Louis Cardinals that same day.

In the clip, a young boy wearing a baseball glove, sunglasses and a Diamondbacks uniform can be seen returning to his seat in the left-field bleachers. As he tried to get to his seat, a woman had one of her legs fully extended to the wall in front of her seat, blocking him from easily passing through.

The young fan waited for her to move her leg, but she never did. If you listen closely, you can hear the woman telling the boy to "step over," but once he did, she kicked the back of his leg.

"Why'd you do that?" One person can be heard asking in the background.

While there were a few muffled comments from onlookers, what the young boy said in response could be heard clearly: "I'm 11 years old, you're 80. Get a life."

Newsweek messaged Raven on TikTok and emailed a spokesperson for Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday to comment on this story.

The clip was later shared to X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday by user @PicturesFoIder, where it has amassed 28.6 million views.

"Entitled old lady doesn't move her leg, kid steps over her, and then gets upset and kicks the kid," the caption reads.

People took to the comments to express their disgust, with many unhappy with how the woman treated the young boy.

"Some old bag touches my child and there's gonna be problems..." one person commented.

"What's with old people at hatred for young ones ???" someone else queried.

"If you're that upset about life maybe just stay home. How is little bro supposed to find his seat?" another person asked.

A fourth person added: "Old people are so unbelievably disrespectful. They want young people to respect them, but they won't reciprocate it. That ain't how it works, even if you're elderly."

Others shared how impressed they were by the 11-year-old's comeback.

"'im eleven years old ur eighty GET A LIFE' THAT COMEBACK," a different X user wrote.

'"im eleven years old ur eighty GET A LIFE' CLEARED HER," said another.

Someone else added: "Glad he stood up for himself."
