Muçum, Brazil: A man searches through remnants of a soaked supermarket on September 7 in one of the hardest hit cities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Earlier in the week, more than 60 cities were flooded when an extratropical cyclone hit the southern region of Brazil, flooding several rivers, displacing thousands from their homes and killing almost 40 people, according to local authorities.
