The fire, set off by a lightning strike, destroyed 40 percent of the Caribbean nation’s main fuel storage facility, caused massive blackouts, forced the evacuation of 800 people, injured 121 and killed one during the five days it burned. Officials say it is the worst fire in the island’s history, with additional firefighters and specialists from Mexico and Venezuela needing to be brought in for assistance.
