Washington, D.C. Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson meets with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York on March 2. Jackson, 51, is the first Black woman to be nominated to the nation’s highest court and her confirmation hearings for the post will begin March 21. The Harvard College and Law School graduate currently serves as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for D.C.
