New York City Police officers clear train cars of passengers at the last stop at the Coney Island station in Brooklyn, New York, on May 6. In an unprecedented move, subway service is now suspended between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. so that trains may be sanitized in hopes of stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Homeless riders were offered shelter in city facilities.
