Sanaa, Yemen—Yemenis flee on May 29 as a Saudi-led coalition aircraft takes a second pass at the home of a Houthi leader a few hours after the residence was hit by an initial airstrike. Since late March, the coalition has been bombing the Houthis, a Shiite rebel group backed by Iran that took control of much of the country last year, in an effort to restore Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to power. Officials in neighboring Oman are seeking to broker an end to the fighting that has killed nearly 2,000 people and caused severe food shortages for Yemen’s 25 million people.
